Michael Bruun, the owner and inventor behind EGO has always been a visionary man. Already at a very early stage in his career this was expressed when he received “Her Majesty Queen of Denmark honour watch” after being appointed and distinctly awarded as the soldier of the year - but this was many years as ago...

Today his reputation and experience has brought him to his own Design Company after 15 years of travelling around the World as the Purchasing and Commercial Manager of a quite big Danish importer. His experience has also involved him in a co-operation with other world famous Danish designers amongst them to be mentioned Piet Hein and Jacob Jensen. His ideas and visions in the past also leaves a track of still successful designs and designer brands.
In May 2006 he decided to go his own way and followed his belief and ideas from sketches in the sand up till now. The registered brand name EGO then saw the first day of life...

His vision and passion for Danish design will lead some tracks into the future of design objects with twisted edges and will lead the design company Egolive A/S on paths which need to be discovered. Being a self-made, curious man, Michael Bruun states: “if you want to change your surroundings, everything starts in your own heart and mind…”
